Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) Design
Our engineers can provide detailed design/construction estimating, planning, cost control, preparation of tender documents and bid analysis as part of the Front-end Design phase designed to take the pressure off the Client’s resources. IPDS strive to expect the unexpected and capture this information in this phase to ensure the project runs on time and with minimal costs.
Once the Detailed Design phase has been implemented our highly experienced engineers will investigate and provide solutions to ATEX and 61511 compliance issues while producing electrical load & discrimination studies, cable sizing & schedules, lighting & earthing studies as well as switchgear specifications, single line diagrams, wiring diagrams and cable routing drawings across a range of voltage levels.
Instrumentation
IPDS can provide mechanical engineering services for pipe stress analysis using validated proprietary software. IPDS can analyse your piping systems to DNV Approval level for systems installed onshore and offshore, Floating Facilities to cover Wind and Wave motions, Storm Survival loadings, Blast loading and Fatigue Life acceptance.
Control Systems
We have 20 years' experience of developing and customising Autodesk Plant3D piping specifications. IPDS can fully customise your Autodesk Plant 3D catalogues and pipe specifications to ASME, ANSI or DIN standards across all process industries.
IPDS can support and deliver the preparation and development of life cycle management documentation to leverage architectural constraints, refine the specification and selection of field instrumentation (4- 20mA, 1-5V, Fieldbus and wireless mesh networks devices) and associated cable management solutions. Our engineers have a wide range of experience from scalable PLC solver solutions to predictive distributed control system strategies fully integrated with site Operations, Engineering and Maintenance.
Our engineers can support and deliver the bundling of proprietary requirements through the application of vertically integrated, functionally separate control system architecture incorporating BPCS, BMS, F&G and SIS systems for a seamless portal on plant performance. Meanwhile demonstrating value improvement opportunities and high integrity risk reduction measures - Predictive control with quantifiable performance.
